Ohio Democrats Ask DeWine to Investigate Cost of Misinformation Using Misinformation

COLUMBUS - Ohio Democrats, led by minority leader Allison Russo, issued a letter on Friday, asking Governor Mike DeWine to investigate the total expenditures and costs associated with misinformation surrounding Springfield, Ohio. According to Russo, the state government only mobilized aid to the strangled and crippled town due to allegations of bomb threats following the presidential debate where Donald Trump made comments about Haitian immigrants eating cats.

“The spread of these fabrications led to state and local taxpayer resources being mobilized to address the tensions and the challenges that followed. Public safety personnel and city officials had to intervene to mitigate the situation, including but not limited to the deployment of additional emergency services and heightened security measures, which diverted attention and funds away from their usual responsibilities. It is concerning that Ohioans will have to bear the financial and social costs of addressing the disruptions caused by these baseless claims,” wrote Leader Russo in the letter to the governor.

The letter inadvertently reveals that had those comments not been made, the government may have continued to ignore the plight of the residents of Springfield, who have been suffering under the weight and burden of unfettered immigration.

Since the rise of the Haitian influx, the city has seen a sharp spike in violent crime rates as well as motor vehicle accidents. The city has additionally seen a massive overburdening of the healthcare system in which cases of HIV and TB have spiked dramatically. The City of Springfield government has maintained a position that there are no standing issues within the city limits as a result of the Haitian influx. Despite verification that the judicial system is purposefully not prosecuting Haitians for crimes due to immigration law stating acquiring two misdemeanors would be grounds for deportation. Further allegations on the current overstretching of FEMA funds to support said immigrants have also emerged, resulting in a near bankrupting of the organization during a national emergency like hurricane Helene. Democrat lawmakers in Columbus state that the main reason for the aid mobilization was tied to bomb threats, which Russo attributes to somehow being tied to Donald Trump and misinformation.

While there is significant evidence to suggest Haitians were directly responsible for the decrease in duck populations in the Snyder Park and Buck Creek area and the multitude of public comments on the decrease in stray cat populations, in her letter Russo emphatically states commentary on the issue is misinformation due to the city manager’s letter stating law enforcement have received “no credible reports” of pets being harmed. Other representatives asked for the Trump and Vance campaign to reimburse the cost of additional aid to Springfield due to their comments.

“We should be accountable to Ohio taxpayers and ask the Trump and Vance campaign to reimburse the state, Springfield, and local businesses for the economic costs resulting from dangerous and divisive fabrications that have cost Ohioans financially. This would take us one step closer to holding elected officials responsible,” said Rep. Adam Miller in response to the letter.

There has been no credible information that has tied any of the ‘bomb threats’ made to comments or actions made by Donald Trump during the presidential debate. Despite many major news outlets attempting to connect the two events, the FBI and Ohio state government has issued several statements outlining that none of the threats have been legitimate and all are coming from a foreign country, highly implied to be common media scapegoat Russia or even China or Iran.

While it would be a large jump in logic to somehow connect a derogatory comment on immigrants eating pets in a debate to a foreign nation hoping to destabilize a small economically impoverished town by emailing bomb threats to Wal-Mart, that has not stopped any media outlet or Democratic politician from trying to force the concepts together.

Conveniently left out of the conversation is the WikiLeaks Vault 7 information, which revealed in 2017 that the CIA has the ability to create digital fingerprints of foreign nations to attribute anything from hacking events to emailed correspondences and even threats. Historically, the concept of creating a ‘false flag’ event, an act committed with the intent of disguising the actual source of responsibility and pinning blame on another party, has been used countless times throughout U.S. history, including plans ranging from Operation Northwoods to the The Lavon affair. While it is more likely that the intelligence apparatus, concerned about being replaced through Project 2025, latched onto Trump’s commentary and used it as an opportunity to create a sense of panic in a swing state and pin it on their international enemies, mainstream media outlets have ignored this more plausible scenario. With the FBI so closely involved in the small city of Springfield and an actual individual culprit not named, foreign or otherwise, the likelihood of it being a U.S. state actor is much larger than not.

Mainstream media outlets and Ohio state Democrats propose that Russia may be attempting to destabilize the U.S. by emailing bomb threats to a Wal-Mart in Springfield Ohio.
“I applaud the leadership displayed by Governor DeWine as well as Springfield’s and Clark County’s elected officials during this difficult time. Instead of fear mongering with conspiracy theories and chasing political headlines, they have debunked myths and led efforts to help protect and rebuild our community,” added Rep. Blackshear. “The majority of Ohioans are concerned about building a future of economic growth and prosperity, where all legal residents and citizens can work hard and get ahead.”

Based on the letter issued to DeWine, it is evident that government leadership on multiple sides only mobilized aid efforts to the collapsing city due to concerns over ‘misinformation’ or potentially just information in general reaching a national audience. The letter did not mention the alleged human trafficking operation being conducted by First Diversity Staffing, nor did it raise any concerns on the overburdening of aid systems in the city, nor the rise in crime and auto accidents, dereliction of duty by the courts failure to prosecute said crimes, rise in housing costs which are displacing native citizens, or the fact that the city government officials are profiting from the replacement of Springfield residents, all of which are verifiable. The only response to these issues has been the Springfield Police Department encrypting their communication streams and cutting themselves off from neighboring departments, making the city less safe in emergency scenarios so the citizens can't hear what law enforcement isn't doing.

The Democrat letter on Springfield has made it emphatically clear that had Donald Trump not made his comments on the debate stage, the city of Springfield would not have received any of the minimal assistance they have gotten thus far from the State Highway Patrol.
