Becoming a Citizen Journalist
What is Citizen Journalism? Citizen Journalism is the radical idea of decentralizing how news is delivered. Right now, nearly every major media outlet and publication can be traced to one of a handful of owners, with increased centralization of that power occurring every year. Of those six companies, all are coopted in some capacity by BlackRock and Vanguard. This is arguably why certain narratives are pushed harder and other topics are completely off-limits.
Our goal is to decouple this ownership from Ohio's news media, creating a truly free information space. On this page you will find resources, links and videos to help guide you in your journey to being a citizen journalist yourself.
